No more than six people are permitted to occupy the property for the holiday rental.
The person completing/confirming the booking must be over 21 and must be a member of the occupying party and authorised to agree to the Booking Conditions of C& CC on behalf of all party members.
All bookings must be accompanied by a deposit of £ 100, the booking fee of £ 22.50 and all fees for extras (e.g. dog/s). If the booking is made later than 42 days before the commencement date the total holiday rental together with the booking fee and fees for extras is due. C& CC will then confirm the booking in writing, whereupon (if the total fees have not already been paid) you are liable for the total holiday rental, which must be paid at least 42 days before the commencement date or the holiday period booked without further demand.
You must keep the property and the furnishings, kitchen equipment, crockery, glasses, bedding and towels clean and in good condition and be responsible for repairing any damage. You are required to leave the property, including equipment, in a clean and tidy condition after your stay. If the property is left in an unreasonable condition additional cleaning charges may be applicable.
You must not do anything to cause a nuisance to occupiers of the neighbouring premises.
Cottage View is a pet friendly property. No pet is allowed on furniture or in any of the upstairs bedrooms. No pet must be left alone at the property at any time. You are responsible for removing as much pet hair as possible. Additional cleaning charges required to remove excess pet hairs will be charged to you. Dogs are not allowed to foul the garden or dig in the garden.
C & CC reserve the right to repossess the property if excessive damage has been caused by any member of your party.
If you have a complaint in respect of Cottage View you must report it to C&CC within 24 hours of arrival to ensure sufficient time is allowed to investigate and/or take the necessary remedial action. No compensation can be offered if you deny C&CC the opportunity to rectify matters during your stay.
We cannot accept responsibility for work taking place outside the boundary of our property, nor for noise or nuisance resulting from third party activity over which we have no control.
C&CC may terminate your contract before the end of your holiday period in the event of a material breach of the terms of these conditions. In the case of termination otherwise than by reason of your default, C&CC will return to you the appropriate proportion of your holiday rental.
Neither the owner nor C&CC shall be liable for any death or personal injury or the loss or damage of your personal property.
Every effort is made to ensure all items of equipment are in good working order, however no guarantee can be given or liability accepted if breakdowns occur during your stay. Whilst C&CC will endeavour to organise repairs or replacements as quickly as possible, delays inevitably do occur, particularly during the main season.
